Tangled is Disney's 50th animated featured film and is considered a classic. It's based on the German fairy tale "Rapunzel" by Brothers Grimm. It's a story of a princess with very long magical hair that is stolen and is kept in a tower deep in the forest near the kingdom her parents rule. She soon makes a bargain with a thief that is wanted throughout the land to take her out of the tower against her "mother's" wishes since she wants to find out what the floating lights are.

It's original title was Rapunzel but it was changed because the animated film before Tangled, The Princess and the Frog, as not successful as Disney hoped because they thought that boys weren't interested with the title. So, they decided to change the title to Tangled.

I was interested in the movie immediately when I saw the trailer where Rapunzel smacked Flynn after Flynn tried his smolder look on her. It's a very funny and enjoyable movie and the way Disney executed it was wonderful. The graphics were a lovely mix of 3D and traditional that gave off this enchanting and "out of a fairy tale" feel.
